Breaking the Cycle of Urban Poverty Through Education

For many children, access to education is not guaranteed.

Children living in urban poverty may face financial insecurity, unstable living conditions, lack of documentation and limited access to formal education.

At Buku Jalanan Chow Kit, we work alongside children, families and the wider community to address these barriers.

Our work goes beyond the classroom. We provide access to learning, support pathways towards citizenship and documentation, strengthen families and communities, and advocate for systems that are more inclusive and responsive to children's rights.
